We are pleased to announce that we’ve partnered with EcoVadis and have been awarded its silver award for sustainability.
EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 90,000 rated companies. We are in the top 25% of companies ranked on the system.
Now with the continued support of EcoVadis, we are now able to properly consider the ecological effects our work may be having on the planet and take all the necessary steps we can to reduce this.
Oliver Jenkins, business development manager at Clegg Food Projects, said:
“We’re proud of this new accreditation. Sustainability and carbon reduction is a top priority for us, and we all need to be do more to ensure we practice what we preach. The built environment (residential and commercial) is responsible for 25% of the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions so, our industry has a critical role to play in the transition to net zero.
“EcoVadis therefore offers a reliable global benchmark and provides proof that we are committed to sustainability and carbon reduction across our business and our projects. This accreditation is just one of many steps we plan to take to ensure our business and work is sustainable. I look forward to seeing how we can continue to work towards a greener future.”
Since launching in 2007, EcoVadis has partnered with more 90,000 companies, across 160 countries and in more than 200 sectors. It operates with a vision of a global marketplace where sustainability intelligence influences every business decision – improving economies, people’s lives, and the planet.
Innovation is at the heart of what we do at Clegg Food Projects, and we can’t wait to see where this new partnership takes us.
