Clegg Food Projects was selected to build a yoghurt production facility for NÖM Dairy – a site that was later bought by the multinational dairy product producer, Muller.
The initial project work started on site in February and customer trials for newly developed yoghurt products commenced in November of the same year so the turnaround was very quick.
Close coordination was therefore required with the process equipment suppliers in order to meet the challenging timetable. Careful planning and preparation as well as a flexible approach were essential to make the facility construction a success.
High specification hygienic finishes were essential for the production areas within the factory, along with complex service installations. The client also wanted specific materials and methods of construction that were standard in Austria.
